Skriptor can provide Linguistic screening on two different levels, depending on the number of name candidates. All linguists are native speakers and they form part of our regular network.

Linguistic Check – (LC)

Linguistic Check is a service suitable for checking one or a few name candidates. It gives a summary view and an indication of the appropriateness of the candidate names with respect to linguistic and cultural aspects. Possible meanings, associations and pronunciation problems are reported by a local linguist in each country in one separate report per name.

Linguistic Review – (LR)

Linguistic Review is a service for clients who have a list of several name proposals, i.e. alternative names for one and the same thing. The purpose of a Linguistic Review is to inform the client of any noteworthy characteristics of the listed names in relation to the linguistic environment of each country. The most obvious reactions and associations connected with the name proposals are reported.
